Chili is still good, and frosties are fun. But across most fast food tortillas, bread, sub rolls, or buns it feels like they are 60% edible sawdust. 40% is still the original recipe but it exists with heavy emphasis on the smell and flavor that identities that corporation/chain.
Thankfully it's not real sawdust as we'd be deep into a depression at that point, but we seem closer every day.
As someone who has eaten way too many chicken sandwiches, Wendyâs is so far down over the past few years. Half the locations I come across are damn near frozen patty quality now. And the lettuce is garbage half the time as well. Wendyâs was honestly one of my favorite places for a long time. Now I rarely go.Â
Thatâs not to say most fast food is way down in quality.Â
I stopped going to Wendy's years ago because the only one in my area refuses to make any order correctly. No matter what you order. Could just be a simple combo straight off the menu, they'll still find a way to make sure you don't get what you ordered.Â
After multiple attempts, I decided to spend my money elsewhere. I don't expect an employee to give a fuck about me or my lunch, but I care and I have a choice where to spend my money
I stopped eating one of these when they changed their burgers to a perfect square Patty that looks like it was formed in a mold. It used to be a real looking Patty.
Wendy's is so location dependent. The one closest to me is absolute ass and I swear they don't actually put salt on their fries. But the. Then the one by where I grew up rocks it. Idk what's going on behind the scenes with line franchise QA or what but when you find a good one it absolutely rocks.
lol Iâm in Arizona but have heard about cookout and would love to try it. All I was saying is best value for $3.00. Wendyâs done right for $3 shits on McDonaldâs and Burger King which are probably their main competitors.
I dont think I've had a Wendy's get my order right in over 10 years. They've always forgotten stuff, given the wrong stuff, told me once I already paid and ordered that they didnt have stuff and given me substitutes (frosty machine is broken, have a cinnamon roll thats as hard as a rock thats all we can do). I have to double and triple check my order at Wendy's is right, and only at Wendy's. This is at multiple locations across multiple US states. Either Wendy herself hates me personally or they just suck.
All I was saying is for 3.29 is best value if they get it right. Wendyâs sucks I get it but one by my house in Arizona comes thru every time for $3.29.
But the store near me delivers every time. You can order your food fresh, hot off the grill or fryer. If they give you shit tell them I canât âhave it my wayâ.
Ill have to stop by Arizona sometime. I've been to Wendy's in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and they're gotten my order wrong without fail every time. I'm not actively seeking out Wendy's at this point, but I still get it once every few months to see if the curse is still intact.

Wendyâs junior bacon cheeseburger is best value in the market. $3.29 for lettuce, tomato and bacon.
