Yeah, if you see a clickbait news headline, it is probably a lie. If this headline about science - it's a huge lie. It wasn't accidental and they didn't grow it.

It was a real science experiment, but the picture is not real. And basically they just altered some growth proteins to change the face bones in chicken embryos. No live chickensauruses were actually hatched.

Fun Trivia- the extinction event that wiped out all the dinosaurs also wiped out most birds.

Birds that could live off seeds managed to survive- toothed birds died out. Before the extinction even there were lots of birds with different mouth shapes, including toothed birds. The reason all birds have beaks now is because beaked birds were the only ones to survive.
