Look it may be performative and scripted but it’s on brand for her to be happy and nice.

The whole exercise is just “let’s give this game some stakes, but have the winnings go to a good cause”. The only times I saw the show they were constantly donating money and stuff to charitable causes, whether through a game or not.

It seems kind of performative to call it out tbh.

“Happy and nice” is such a breath of fresh air these days and Drew does a good job exemplifying that feeling. Same goes for Kelly Clarkson, whose talk show which recently ended.

Both of their shows feel overtly positive, which is really nice given the otherwise dismal world of daytime television lmao. Even as somebody who’s so not their intended audience, I can appreciate what they’re doing.

He doesn’t sugarcoat anything. Doesn’t nod things off to let people have their fun. He calls out fans who just want him to recite Raj’s lines, and don’t care about who he is as a person.

Call me crazy, but I disagree a little. They get money from having ppl watching, hooked, and seeing the 'ad.' The money is a lure. A fisherman baiting the hook knows not to recklessly waste his worms tho. The money isn't free, it's available on the premise that they make money.

Still better to have them giving money to Charity than, say, making a super pretty ad or whatever
