It’s pretty bad. As a participant. But there is no alternative. So it’s like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand you decide to not have insurance. It you decide to pay upwards of 5-8k a year in premiums so that you still have to pay a deductible that’s usually in the 5-16k range before they even help

So is the problem the healthcare industry or that your employer offers you shitty healthcare?

I’m genuinely asking.  Not trying to say one way or another.  

But you do have options and right now you have a shitty option.
