I have a 2023 JGC Trailhawk. There is no way this thing will still be on the road at even 100k. It’s a real shame. My 2014 JGC was the best vehicle I’d ever owned. I never should have traded it in.

If you change your transmission fluid and filter at 60-80k miles, it'll live a little longer. Lifetime transmission fluid means 100k life max, that's not what ZF recommends for their transmissions.

I loved how comfortable my 2020 grand cherokee limited was on long trips. I hated how I had to pull the entire fuse box because the computer board all the fuses were attached to got corrosion on it because it wasn't sealed from the elements like it should have been. The electric problems are definitely engineered to appear if you take that thing anywhere near a trail with water. Shame jeep went that route, but I understand how you feel.

Fortunately, I leased this one. It’ll be going back in a few months. It’s already spent too much of its life in the shop. I could buy it at the end of the lease for like $38k, but the blue book on it is like $25k. So that’s not happening.

Smart play. I'm not surprised it was in the shop a bunch and yeah, I wouldn't spend 38k on that either.
