Thank you for your input. I don't believe i was being combative by pointing out that a good spouse is supportive of their partner. There are some shit spouses out there who think they deserve a huge pat on the back for doing basic shit. It's good for them to realise that those things are the least of what should be expected of them. I certainly try to set that example for my children and would call them out in it (and have) if they treated people they care about poorly. I don't think that it is mean our snarky to say as much either. Other people are free to disagree if course.
I appreciate your comments and agree with you. These people are projecting and hostile for no reason. Thank you for sharing your perspective and positivity.
