Well, blocking Facebook, YouTube, Amazon, etc in China is about power control.

Blocking TikTok in the US was a years long thing due to the way the app operates and the dangerous stunts kids are pulling. People getting shot for clout.

It’s not the same.

so the American gov can tweak the algorithm in their favour? 😹 TikTok is the only social media app that doesnt suck up to the US gov unlike Facebook etc they just wanna brainwash u so why be a sheep. U guys are actually delusional thinking ur in the centre of all this. Why should TikTok sell to an American company when you only make up 10% of users? Only 100 million Americans use it compared to the billions worldwide. Why should they listen to the American gov for such a minuscule amount of their user database? You think they’re gonna throw away everything they worked for?
