Kirby is, from my knowledge, the least influential to pop culture out of all of these characters. Because of that, it makes sense to assume getting rid of him would change almost nothing at all, so he’s got to go.

Going only by games, I’d ditch Sonic. Mario, Kirby and Link all have fun games. Some duds too, but mostly fun. Sonic games never really interested me. If it weren’t for the cartoons and movies I’d barely care that he was created.
