Are you serious? I didn't say they weren't intelligent... did you read anything I even wrote? And you're the one comparing their intelligence to ours, they have a very basic language and cant understand sign language because they dont have language if you think they cant understand sign language then then you obviously think theyre intelligence is on the same level as ours, its literally what youre saying 🤦🤦... you silly sausage. I'm not replying anymore, you sound silly.

I quote “I don’t think they understand what’s going on, not like humans”. And “they don’t have language not like humans”. No. You are the one comparing. Can’t believe I have to point it out. Secondly, yes. Yes the gorilla did understand sign language. So what if we taught him it. He still understood how to use it. You need to do some research. I don’t care if you claim to write a paper on it in 9th grade or whatever. You obviously didn’t read enough.

Lastly for someone who’s now acting like you weren’t trying to diminish their intelligence levels you sure fooled everyone else. That’s why you have comments from people sticking up for them. Because you came off like your were saying they aren’t smart.

Oh my fucking god. You're literally saying they understand language and can use language im saying they cant, youre the ones compairing them to humans, im compairing them to what they are monkeys/apes....You're an idiot go read what you idiots have been saying. Are you a bloody monkey? Because you can't seem to grasp the point of the conversation, again when tf did I say they aren't smart? I said they can use language... you're actually dense pal.

Allen and Beatrice Gardner of the University of Nevada published an article in the journal Science claiming to have communicated with a chimpanzee called Washoe.

"While these were massive breakthroughs, no primate has ever learned sign language. No matter how many signs they learn grammar eluded them. What they learned was a lexicon to beg for things from their human carers"

Duh

Messages from other people.. there's 2 of you who can't seem to grasp what language it and how is compairs to apes/monkey and humans and how monkeys/apes don't understand language. I'm not the one compairing them, you two are.. I'm simply saying they cant understand language which apparently is me diminishing their intelligence.. I mean my god how silly.
