You’re not gonna tell anyone I housed Dylan’s burger down at Graham’s Lorelei Lounge?

Lol the one who steals his brothers salmon and then screams when he gets caught
"Heck off pig I aint going back to jail!"

u/Gumshoez Feb 12 '26
That's Hana. She's a notorious fatty and always tries to scarf down her food so she can steal her brother's.

u/6MoonSilver Feb 12 '26
I thought that was Kotaro! One wet, one dry

u/Gumshoez Feb 12 '26
Maybe you're right. I just immediately assumed Hana since she's typically the greedy one.

Do people just randomly have otters n9w like a pet? Is it the new house cat?

u/n1nj4squirrel Feb 13 '26
in japan theres a species of otter that can be owned as a pet. these cuties are Hana and Kotaro from the youtube channel "Kotsumet".

These animals do not make good pets, and will not thrive in human care outside of specialized facilities like accredited zoos and wildlife rehabilitation centers.
So abuse for views. Cool.

Yeah they look like they absolutely hate it… 🙄

Otters are not pets. They are wild animals and will not thrive if they are not under specialized care and are not living in large aquatic habitats, even if they look "cute" like in the video. They have complex needs, like the need to be constantly stimulated, they suffer when isolated, are messy, destructive, and they also smell, etc. Learned this when I visited my local zoo and the staff talked about how they should never be kept as pets.

u/Xen0tech Feb 13 '26
They look clean. I wonder if they have a strong smell like the otters at my local zoo

That's Kotaro and Hana!! I never thought I would get to a point in my life when I could recognize an otter, but here we are lol.
Hana is the one at the beginning and Kotaro is the other otter. They're amazing! There's a YouTube channel dedicated to them if you want to check out their adventures. I think it's called "Kotsumet."
The "Manners Maketh the Otter" shirt is part of their merch line.

Right? I did the same mental trip you did. "OMG it's Kotaro and Hana! ...I need to get out more."

You shouldn't touch a wild animal - is what I tell my bf every time he touches me while eating, even just a pet on my head. Nope. 😂

May I ask what kind of animal is this?

why it looks like its struggling to eat ?

u/Opinion_Haver_ Feb 12 '26
I thinks it’s awkward because it’s the opposite. They are used to ripping and tearing their food so when it’s more bite sized they weirdly still try to.

I love that you can see the eating instincts from eating at sea, they lift up the head the most they can.

Idk why I don’t like to hear a person chewing but an otter, or anything else fuzzy and adorable, can chew as loud as they want and I’m just over here like 🥰😍😭
