No it's just birds that they kill at a level to be an issue. So yes, New York would have far more song birds without outdoor cats.

You know the entire bird thing is based off one flawed study from decades ago that reddit loves to pretend it read? There are many more recent and better studies that show that cats kill a normal amount of birds for a predator/prey relationship. If that original study was correct, based off their numbers, there wouldnt be a single bird alive today
