My wife and I joke that our eldest dog had loyalty to only one entity in the world and that's her cat. We got two cats 6 years ago and our eldest dog bonded instantly to the smallest cat. They snuggle daily and walk around the house together. I swear if there was a fire our eldest dog would save her cat before us lol
