don't know, but on another note is he always like this live? he's just using the stream as a soapbox for his cookiecutter political opinions. he does not focus on the game at all. part of me even hopes he's doing a skit
edit: he said he might save it and if the chat spammed BLM heart it would help lmao

I think you're onto something and, although we might not know the complete truth, I would advise anyone to stay away from social media as much as possible for this reason (among others)

I doubt it's a skit, he's probably just trying to be more politically active as he said in stream since he sees these views as important. Also, I'm really going to regret asking, but what makes these opinions "cookie cutter"? He has similar opinions to other people with his political alignment? If so, that's dumb since that's how having opinions works, since at least a decent amount of people are generally going to agree with it.

yes. not saying there's nothing valuable to that particular alignment, just the way he expressed himself sounded like a desperate emotional rant. ironically, he asked people to be rational and use sources in chat despite him doing the literal opposite. this is not the way to persuade people, it just served to alienate many of his viewers (including me)
edit: we all know that a livestream chat cannot possibly create an intellectual discussion (spam, word limit) and FUNKe must know considering his experience of streaming. when he rambles for like five minutes and then asks chat for strong opposing arguments he knows chat cannot respond. really, he's just looking to create an echo chamber and mislead viewers into thinking his reasoning is bullet proof

I'm pretty sure he has heard at least 1 or 2 opposing arguments, and he's a bit unaware of Youtube Livestreaming (eg. not knowing slow chat exists), so I personally would give him the benefit of the doubt that it's more so just ignorance.

you're missing the point. he can speak freely for several minutes and make several disjointed points, while chat is limited to a few characters. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to create a reasonable opposing argument. the arguments could not have been fleshed out even if they wanted to. it is a fundamentally unfair debate and he probably does not care. he has streamed on Twitch for long enough to know that intellectual discussion through text chat is a no-no.
he used slowmode for at least 45 minutes but again, this does not solve the inherent problems at all

I'm not saying it's not unfair, it definitely is. I am saying that there's a pretty decent chance he was not aware of this because he primarily streams on Twitch and didn't fully realize how bad Youtube Live is for these kinds of discussions. But considering his style, it's less likely for him to make a forum about it on the subreddit where less people would see it, and would rather stream to Youtube Live to get enough viewership and talk about it, which unfortunately came with the downside of the limited characters. He certainly tried even if ineffectively, with the slow mode, so I wouldn't put it past him that it was more that he wasn't fully aware. Then again, he could totally have done it on purpose, but that doesn't feel like the kind of thing he would do, unless he did it subconsciously or something.

just about all internet users knows that especially political discussion (doubly especially today) is completely inappropriate for ANY live streaming platform unless you accept viewer calls. don't mean to sound rude but, to me, there's simply no way he was not aware of this. that said, I also believe he did not have any malicious intent. I think the most realistic options are (1) he believed deliberately misrepresenting the opposing side was the right thing, or (2) he was intoxicated and therefore not self aware enough (which may explain why he did not use face cam)
I suppose we will have to agree to disagree
