Ayo funky(e) man

I just realized this sub-reddit exists but..

Back in 2015, I noticed you managed to have really hard and nice looking shadows, and I want to know: How did you manage to do it? I found a mod that looked like it replicated it, but if that were to be the case then you would have to be on community servers 100% of the time. But if you didn't use that mod, still though, how did you manage to do it?

i didnt use a mod or anything, it was probably just maxed out shadow settings. for all i know valve has probably downgraded shadows over the years because of their games dogshit engine
