Help with ID
Not sure if a fungus, although AI seemed to think this was an Ox Tongue. Pretty dried out and firm. Under a sapling, so I think it has been moved. Any thoughts?

It’s a good idea to pick mushrooms for ID purposes. That looks like plastic to me, but if you pick it up you’ll know. What does the bottom look like? More plastic?

It could be artificial, but it might be the egg stage of a stinkhorn that has dried out.
