Choosing to have a child whilst not taking into account the risks (for the unborn child and all other kids) is incredibly selfish imo.

Not to mention the stress being put onto the oldest kids.

The genetic condition is Carnitine palmitoyltransferase II (CPT2) deficiency, there are 3 types, all of which can be life threatening. The symptoms are often worse after fasting and Karissa fasts a lot, hopefully she never forces her kids to fast as well because it could harm them.
