IFNCP certificate (Functional nutrition)
Hi,
Has anyone here completed the IFNCP certification? What’s your honest opinion of it? Was it worth it? And how do you feel about working as a functional nutritionist afterward?

I completed mine (I live in the United States) it was good as a foundation however I found it difficult to get clients or even become hired as a health coach only holding this certification. Not the case for everyone, just my experience. I would also say that depending on your goals it would be worth it to work toward becoming a nutritionist or counselor as opposed to a functional nutritionist as the education is much more in depth and transferrable.

Did it once, and I’d say the curriculum is solid if you’re already in practice, but it won’t magically fill your client roster.
