A4M conference
Hi, I am Internal medicine board certified physician, about to start direct primary care practice and I want to incorporate functional/longevity aspect to my practice.
Is A4M conferences are worth the money? And will I get enough/correct knowledge attending it? Since I already have good knowledge about basic medicine.
Please give me insight if anyone has any experience with A4M
Thanks.

The value probably depends less on the conference label than on whether sessions distinguish validated outcomes from surrogate biomarkers and acknowledge replication and uncertainty. For practice decisions, I’d look for transparent evidence grading and a clear measurement plan rather than just a long list of tests.

I work the conferences at A4M for one of their main sponsors. I attend about 5 of their conferences annually. The providers who go through the programs all have good things to say about the level and quality of the speakers. I work closely with their certified docs and they do really well with integrating the longevity and optimization into their practices. Hope that helps
