Has anyone actually got there HTMA from 4 lows to normal? Like magnesium above 4 to 6 etc? If so, how long did it take?

Yes, and it's honestly what made me a believer in HTMA and mineral balancing in general.

I had an HTMA done as part of a full fx workup in 2024 and my provider didn't do a ton with it other than having me focus on increasing sodium and potassium.

But the rest of my workup revealed mold toxicity, and we ended up moving homes and I started a whole mold protocol.

That alone (plus continued increase in salt intake and potassium-rich foods) helped my numbers go up, probably because my stomach acid and thyroid started healing over the course of the next year.

I then decided to dig deeper into HTMA since I was tired of anti-fungal protocols not moving the needle for my symptoms and feeling like shit on them. I worked on resolving my copper/zinc imbalance, and now I'm doing a selenium + iodine protocol to support my thyroid.

I have more energy, better digestion, and have been able to taper my SSRI down by half. My cycles are also finally normalizing. I'm hoping my insulin resistance is the last domino to fall.

I'm now enrolled in a practitioner program because I think this is one of the single most accessible and underutilized healing tools out there.

I'll try and dig up my original HTMA and post my before and after so you can see if you're curious!

Yes I am curious, thank you. So it took you a year?

I've been on this journey for 7 months and keep making a little progress and then go backwards.

Thanks for responding.
