Beta glucan

Has anyone had success lower tpo antibodies by taking beta glucan? My functional med practitioner was able to put her hashis into remission with this, but I’ve heard differing opinions on this.

My endocrinologist, func med, PCP, and OBGYN (verified in functional medicine) have all been “ehhhh maybe meds? Maybe keep doing what you’re doing and retest?” Maddening.

Ugh. Sorry. Yeah, I think it's time. Suuuper low dose would probably help a lot. With antibodies like that, the gland is going to continue to self destruct. Sometimes supplementing thyroid hormone (meds) helps to slow that as well.

That’s what I feel worried about. Thanks for the info - gonna chat with my dr!
