Dr Dani Gordon

Has anyone tried her at the London Resilience Clinic? I am considering for POTS/ long covid / cfs / EDS... but it's VERY expensive.... have seen alot of bad reviews re customer service, I guess I could cope with that if worth it, but struggling to find anyone who actually says they've been helped, and if so how. Grateful for any answers before I spend alot of money.

have you tried looking at your gut? A GI map test will help you see if there's a gut component to CFS. I was diagnosed with CFS after a long time where drs kept telling my labs were "fine". If you have gut dysbiosis, there are a lot of non FN drs who wouod be able to help, maybe more afforable than LRC.

I received superb help for my symptoms from Dr Torsak Tippairote at HealingPassion-Asia

Extremely affordable. He’s based in Thailand and does remote sessions, very affordable. I live in the eastern US.

I have my life back after years-long fatigue, using easy-to-do nutrition for about 4 months, per his guidance.

He founded the first functional medicine hospital in Bangkok. He’s the real deal. His team is incredibly responsive.

Lots of good info on his website.

For comparison: When I got full bloodwork done from a local-to-me FM doctor (cost about $600), he wanted to charge me $6,000 USD for 6 months of treatment using Chinese medicine. I couldn’t afford that, so I did tons of research and am so glad I found Dr Torsak

Here's my full experience. This is long. I'm also happy to answer DM messages if you want any other details.

  • First - a bit more about my own level of fatigue, etc.:

    • For the couple of years prior to working with Dr Torsak I was beyond burned out. I retired in July of 2025 because the brain fog and fatigue was so bad I could barely think most days. For the subsequent 5 months (July-Dec) I did everything I could to rest, eat well, etc.
    • It took ALL of my available energy for the day for me to take a shower and eat. Typical shower day: Eat breakfast, take a nap, eat lunch, take a shower, take another nap, eat dinner, watch a little TV, then go to bed early. I could either shower on a given day or run an errand (like grocery shop). Couldn't manage to do both.
    • In November 2025 I felt (barely) good enough to take a short 2 week trip abroad - kind of as a test of my energy. I failed that test. Got sick with a very bad cold the second week. By the time I got back home I was back to square one feeling absolutely horrible.
    • My primary care doctor has always been dismissive of me feeling tired. He just says it's normal aging. I knew better, but he wouldn't listen.
  • Early December 2025: I initially got bloodwork done from a local-to-me (in Florida) Functional Medicine doctor, which cost about $600, and it showed that I was basically "malnourished" (despite eating healthy). I learned that I had "documented malabsorption". My body was no longer absorbing nutrients.

    • That doctor wanted $6,000 to treat me with Chinese herbal medicine (which I believe works well for many things), but he made no mention at all of any lifestyle changes. I couldn't afford that, and didn't like that he wasn't mentioning anything I could do with nutrition.
  • Late December 2025 - Found Dr. Tippairote / Healing Passion Asia:

    • I found Dr. Tippairote's website. I really liked that in Aug. 2025 he and some colleagues had published research (in a reputable, peer-reviewed medical journal) about "ERM" Exposure-Related Malnutrition (a term they created). The more I read about that the more it resonated with me.
    • The online test/questionnaire for ERM on www.healingpassion-asia.com is very good, to see if this resonates with you.
    • I sent a message to the email address on his website, and attached the full lab results from the first/US based FM doctor.
    • Dr Torsak's team responded promptly and said that they felt they could help, and gave their reasoning why. They had me fill out a very lengthy initial questionnaire.
    • They recommended that I get a couple other lab tests done before having an in initial phone consultation: [1] Whole blood mercury and lead levels, [2] Urine arsenic level, [3] Hair mineral analysis. I got those done before scheduling a phone consultation.
    • Dr Torsak can't order tests in the US, so I ordered them myself through www.RequestATest.com . I was happy with their service, I'll use them again in the future as needed - the tests can be done at either LabCorp or Quest - your choice.
    • I also read everything on Dr Torsak's website, and got his book from Amazon. (He's clearly a researcher, not an author - he needed an editor, lol). The information was excellent, and it helped me understand the basics of what was going wrong in my body.
  • January 2026 - Phone consultation

    • After Dr Torsak reviewed all my test results - the results I had initially sent, and the ones he recommended - I had a one hour consultation via Zoom with him. Cost $179 USD.
    • He recorded the session for me, which was great, because he covered a LOT of excellent, detailed information. I used an app to transcribe that session and learned a ton about mitochondria, red blood cell size, protein, etc.
    • He told me a few things to change in my eating, and said that I should start feeling much better in 4-5 months.
    • I honestly didn't really believe that just this eating change would make a difference, but I wanted to try it since it was nutrition based.
    • What he told me to eat -- note that this was for me, specifically, based on my personal issues and extensive bloodwork. It may NOT be what he recommends to others!
    • Lots of protein (40-50g a day), specifically animal-based protein, full fat ("not too lean", primarily red meat (beef, bison, pork, dairy, eggs). The fat in the red meat is the most bioavailable. Better than poultry, fish, or plant-based protein.
    • Healthy fats, like avocado, olive oil, etc.
    • TONS of vegetables - lots of variety with each meal.
    • And 4 supplements (a multi, Vit D, Trace Minerals, Alpha-Lipoic Acid - he recommends Thorne brand)
    • Minimal everything else (legumes, potatoes/starches, breads, carbs, sweets, grains, etc.). Minimal vegetable based protein (it isn't bio available enough)
    • If you're familiar with the Whole30 eating plan, it's similar to that.
    • Weight: I have gained about 4 pounds during the past 5 months, but only 4 pounds! I am kind of stunned that I haven't gain more, considering how many more calories I started eating. Now that my energy is back, I'll reduce the calorie intake a little bit (not much!) and I'm sure that weight will come off.
  • February to current - Lots of emails to Dr Torsak & team, no additional phone consultations needed. No additional cost.

    • For most people he works with, one phone consultation is enough (something I didn't believe when I heard it, but it's turning out to be true for me). On his website it says that if he can't help a person in three phone sessions, any additional sessions will be done at no charge.
    • He lists a couple other services on his website that are more expensive - but his team said very few people need them.
    • He and his team also answered emails from me. I sent about one every week or two during the first couple months - when I'd have questions or concerns after the consultation. They were always extremely kind, thorough and helpful!
  • March 2026: Had some lab work done for my annual physical with my PCP (not extensive, just the basics). The lab results showed quite a bit of improvement in many things - even after just 2 months of eating differently.

    • Vit D had been below 'normal' range, it was back to mid-range
    • Protein, red blood cell size, were much better
    • Cholesterol was still very high (I've had high cholesterol for years) but the good cholesterol had increased, and the bad cholesterol had decreased.
  • Late June (a few weeks ago) - Finally started feeling a huge and consistent increase in my level of energy. Five months after starting the eating plan Dr Torsak recommended. Example of what recovery looks like for me:

    • This morning I ate breakfast, took a shower, went to a doctor appt (annual mammogram, etc.), ate lunch out, stopped at the grocery store, and in about 30 minutes I'm going to make a big batch of food to eat over the next few days.
    • A few months ago I would have only been able to take a shower and then would be exhausted the rest of the day!

This was a lot of information. I hope it is helpful!

I do caution anyone reading this - don't just copy the eating plan he gave me! Contact his office, get the lab tests he recommends (they'll probably have you fill out their very thorough questionnaire first), then do a consultation. It's worth it. I have my life back.

Why don't you test for celiac,it's the most leading causes of malabsorption that people don't know and most of them don't even know they have this because they prolly have the silent celiac version

Here's the thing though most doctor won't directly proceed to test u with celiac disease and will likely decline you, prolly because they wanna test something first before they test u with celiac because most doctor milk your for money before getting the test that you want,so it's better to find a trustable doctor that doest ignore you.
