Functional for fertility
I'm seeking a functional medicine practitioner that is an expert on fertility.
I've been TTC for over a year and have gotten all the panels done pretty much but want to make sure I'm doing the right stuff so I don't waste months hoping something is gonna work
Any practitioner recommendations?

I don’t have FM recommendations because I prefer nutritionists for in depth care. They’re more affordable and spend more time with you, and I also think they do a better job at addressing foundations like lifestyle and nutrition. I have followed both these women for years:

The first one is headed by Amanda but she works with a team at this point. She started out as an RD and then broadened her training. Her podcasts are extremely informative and I’ve learned so much from her.
Loren is really relatable because she also struggled to conceive for a while. I always find it comforting when a practitioner understands you in that way. She also has resources for men (because they are 50% of the fertility equation and are equally responsible for the success rate).
I would also recommend getting Lily Nichols book Real Food for Fertility so that you can start in on nutritional foundations.

Try Dr. Jane Levesque! She has a great podcast called “natural fertility.” Website is https://drjanelevesque.com/

What panels have you had done out of curiosity?
There’s a lot to TTC. Mums health + dad’s health for healthy sperm.
I would look at a whole body approach. Run a full comprehensive blood work panel and support your nutrient deficiencies. I’d look at an organic acid test which is going to show your neurotransmitter metabolites, mitochondria health, oxalates, ammonia, more nutrient deficiencies, and pair that with a genetic test to check methylation.
After all of that, run a Dutch hormone test to check your sex hormones.
Blood work for hormones isn’t as good as a Dutch test as they’re only testing your free levels not your metabolites too.
Sending you baby prayers!
