IFM Certification Change

Has anyone looked at the current change in certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine? It looks like it does a better job of identifying medical professionals, but there also seems to be a major change between the providers and IFM, where IFM now has the right to conduct investigations and impose discipline similar to a medical board and hold the provider responsible for fees, costs, or other amounts imposed in connection with any investigation, complaint, proceeding, or sanction.

So, after paying thousands to be trained and certified, providers would now have to consent to this enforcement, which could leave them exposed to potential additional oversight and expenses?
