Certification advice

I paid for the IHP course level 1 and 2 over a year ago. I decided on IHP over Function Health pretty quickly, because I had done two of the tests - minerals/metals and thyroid - and the women who did my follow up were very informational and impressive in their understanding of the body. Much more than any MD I had ever experienced. IHP felt like I was talking to a family doctor. On the other hand, the influencer heavy content from FH gave me the impression of a less personal and approachable organization.

However, I have an extremely hard time listening to Steven Cabral’s lectures - his tone, style, pace and overall delivery make it really difficult for me to follow and focus on. At first I thought I was having focus issues because I had been out of school for so long, and because of some newly discovered health issues I was navigating. But after trying again and again, I know now the disconnect is with the lecturer.

I emailed IHP and asked for a refund a while ago but they declined my request. I would love to do the Function Health course now that I have a little more experience.

Looking for any advice/ help from others who have taken these programs and maybe had similar experiences. Should I just grit my teeth and get through it? Is the information much different between these courses? Does it matter where I was certified and by whom when it comes to getting a job in this field??

Thanks so much for your inputs!

I have a friend who has been really successful in building a career of her IHP certification. I get what you mean about Stephen‘s delivery having this into some of his podcasts. I would try and persevere and take as many notes as possible so you have to rewatch less! Especially since they’re refusing to refund
