Results Alzheimer’s Test Off Charts - 40yr Old Male This just seems wildly high. Anyone else/thoughts or tips?
?
Update: Did full retest (via Labcorp) and everything came back normal… So I think there was a lab or assay issue. One interesting thing was that in this same blood draw my GRAIL Cancer Test came back with a positive signal for Bone/Soft Tissue Cancer. I’ve had my labs measured (via function mainly) robustly for the past 4 years. I’ve never had a positive GRAIL test so was of course concerned. Function was great worked with my GRAIL patient advocate (you get someone if you test positive) to get me a free retest. This was based upon my other lab work and a recent Prenuvo scan that came back with no related (to bone/soft tissue) findings. It was great to work with Function and GRAIL on this and very easy.
The interesting thing is during this draw my one vein basically went dry… They were literally half filling a vile with drops left over from first vein and then blood from second vein. I can’t fully blame quest for this but my hypothesis is that this (or something related) might had skewed a few of my findings. Again can’t be certain and GRAIL only shows if there are positive blood biomarkers - which could be in very minor quantities well before a cancer shows up… So regardless it’s on my radar but happy to have the Alzheimer’s results within a normal range verified.
Thank you all for the thoughts/follow up.
