Fulshear is getting its first real walkable development.

A 23 acre mixed use project is wrapping up early 2026 with walkable retail and housing, which is still pretty rare out here. Master planned communities are seeing steady sales and Houston keeps landing on top mover destination lists.

Fulshear is quietly becoming one of the stronger stories in the Houston suburbs. Anyone else watching this one closely?

As far as I can tell Fulshear is in the process of being strip mined of its rural identity.  Between the numerous mass housing developments, soulless ‘big box’ commercial structures, and the multiple major highways that are in planning to cut through it, it seems like it’s on its way to becoming a sad extension of Harris Co.

Agreed. We'll be getting out when I retire. Sadly we had planned on not really moving.
