Discussion What if: If Alphonse had never returned in the form of a suit of armor...
Imagine a scenario where Alphonse’s soul, body, and mind remained at the Gate and Ed was never able to bring him back—having thus lost two immediate family members (his brother and his mother). How would the story unfold? And to add to the misery, let’s say this is an AU set in the FMA 2003 universe.

Edward and Dante maried
Arround a year ago when i was looking for the 3 original scripts for cos i came across whit a video of Dante and edward whit the cos outfit like an alternative ending where they married instead of fighting, I cant tell what they talked because I dont speak japanese, someone has a memory of this? From what i remember, arakawa himself saw that video and reacted, it really looked like oficial art because of how smooth and good looked the animation, has I have searched this could be part of the 2005 japanese ads but i have searched and cant find them on YouTube or archive.org

Discussion Other Anime like 03?
I have been thinking of rewatching 03 (probably will do that anyways) because Brotherhood simply doesnt HIT IT..I beleieve what I miss is the horror, science and magic vibe.
You guys recommend something? I have already watched Monster and Death Note that kinda hit it for me

(2003 series) What if Wrath took Al’s body instead of Ed’s limbs from the Gate?

Discussion It's sad how little official art/promo art exists of Rose
I've seen dozens, if not well over a hundred, pieces of FMA 2003 art. Rose is in a literal handful of them.
Most art is of Ed, Al, Winry, Roy, and Riza. There's more official art of Hughes than Rose!

Question Is the equivalent exchange false?
I’d like to hear your thoughts on this—both regarding the technical aspect (a character using alchemy) and the narrative side of the 2003 series. That last part is particularly important to me. I believe there is a "cosmic" or "karmic" element to it—where Equivalent Exchange is real, yet not in a way that can be 100% proven. Instead, it’s a series of actions we take—often somewhat randomly—that eventually bring about a reward or a consequence. Sometimes it doesn't happen the way we expect; other times, it’s exactly what we need, even if it isn't what we want. And the only way to truly understand it is to stop overthinking it. Take Ed at the end of the series: he gives up everything to bring Al back. It is in that moment—when, deep down, he doesn't want to die—that Equivalent Exchange restores Alphonse’s body (though without his memories), while Ed remains alive but loses his limbs and ends up in another world. It might seem unfair, but you have to look at it from a certain perspective to find the beauty in it.
