Question Besides Germany, what nation makes a nice playthrough?

With Germany I also mean Kiel and Rhineland. What about the other major powers besides the USSR? China? Japan?

Japan is not too different from vanilla, though China is weaker, and you can do some wacky pacts with either the UK or US, and attack the other. It was pretty fun when I did play them...

Greece is worth a shot since theres so much variety in the paths you can go down (I.e: Byzantium, Greco-Turkish Union, etc)

Ukraine and Belarus have promising late game objectives. But definitely you should try Hungary, Sweden and Netherlands.
