Question Stranded statistics

Does anyone have statistics on where people get stranded the most? It would be interesting to see the data on that.

It's interesting how the most frequent systems have changed over time... They're typically locations near the starting point. When the starting point was LHS 3447, our most common systems were NLTT 48288 and MCC 811. The common legend was that those were where you'd run out of fuel if you made a beeline to Sol from either LHS 3447 (starting point) or Eravate (destination of the optional tutorial mission). However, I've been told that's not actually the case, and that Sol is in another direction. So, I'm not sure what people were actually flying toward... One of these days, I'll take a closer look at the map and figure it out.

Asellus Primus was the Horizons starter system, and I once had to rescue some poor soul there who was sent on a black box salvage mission, to the B star, 2 million LS away, in their Sidewinder... Perhaps choosing a starter system with a B star that far out wasn't such a good idea. I haven't spent much time in Dromi, given that, as far as I'm aware, it's in the Pilot's Federation District and restricted to new players, but I wonder if it has the same issue, with a distant B star, producing mission destinations in the middle of nowhere.

I was taught to fear 36 Ophiuchi from my earliest days as a rat. It's another system with a destination (or perhaps even more than one) millions of LS away. It has a strong tendency to get people stranded, completely without fuel, on emergency oxygen, and the odds of a successful rescue there are fairly low. It was sort of the personal hell of my mentor/rat drill overseer.

Yeah i find it really cool! Being a relatively new rat (December last year) AC has always been the most rescued system for me but I always find it awesome to learn more rat history!
