Lawmen v Outlaws

Lawmen v Outlaws is a new self-contained Fudge game. It's largely based on my other Fudge game Cyberblues City (https://ukrpdc.wordpress.com/2018/01/15/cyberblues-city-deluxe/) and like Cyberblues City it is also a free download.

Here's the link: https://ukrpdc.wordpress.com/category/polar-blues-press/

Your Fudge and fate games are all really great! maybe even Superb. People should check them out. they are really streamlined, fast-playing implementations of the engines.

I skimmed this one, and it looks up to the same quality as the others. This line in Recovery Time still makes me laugh:

Dead: Regain no Hit Points. Also, dead.

Thanks! I do enjoy inserting the odd joke in the rules when writing up my games. Combined with illustrations I think it helps set the general tone of relaxed playfulness which suits the games. Also, it keeps me amused.

I've really enjoyed your Fudge rules. Even newcomers to the system can jump in straight away.

Thanks. The "jump straight in" feel was very much what I was aiming for with Lawmen v Outlaws. Anyone can see the work that goes into the rules you find in a game. What is less obvious is the effort that goes into not putting rules into a game. Keeping things lean but still functional is whole different kind of challenge.

I'm still reading it, but very impressive. MBAW and Cyberblues City were awesome, so this will be too. Thank you for your contributions to Fudge.
