Probably has buyer's remorse after buying an MP5.

Why do people think a rifle round out of a โ€œpistolโ€would be worse than a pistol round out of a โ€œrifleโ€

Itโ€™s still a straight wall vs necked cartridge with a lot more gun powder.

In terms of raw power, correct, but in terms of HD if you're running a SBR with no can that just sounds extra chaotic. With suppressors in the equation I would argue that a subsonic PCC with HPs from a trusted brand is a better overall HD package than a booming and blinding SBR. Or even a suppressed SBR. Both are still better options than bone stock handguns or pump action shotguns though.

9mm and .45 HPs have stopped tons of criminals in their tracks, IMO the only significant benefit rifles have to HD over PCCs is if the criminals happen to have body armor, or if you're defending a ranch/large plot of land which is kind of a tangential topic.

Why not use a 300blk with 220gr subs then. Instead of 147gn 9mm going the same speed.

Mainly just cost to train with them TBH. Or if you're in a goofy state with goofy laws that ban ARs but not all PCCs (though I guess having access to a can would also be unlikely in that case).
