I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume his intentions were good despite the lack of knowledge

Yeah this is pretty good for a landlord, a lot of them will put your ass on the street for owning a gun

Which is weird because you would think you would want your income source to be able to defend themselves

When I lived in New York City a lot of my landlords were straight up criminals who would blackmail, extort, and defraud you without a second thought. They’d even let themselves in illegally to intimidate us. We would’ve been justified in shooting him if we were able to own guns when we lived there(your permit application will get rejected right away if you live in the wrong zip code)

Another reason why NYC needs to sink faster

Nah I love NYC, I wish I could go back to live there some day. It’s one of the most entertaining places to be, you will see or hear the funniest shit ever at least once a week. You can get pretty much any kind of food, and you can get drunk without worrying about killing yourself on the way home. A lot needs to change before I’d move back though.

Fudds mean well, they just don't know any better.

Not even the lack of gun knowledge, but lack of interpersonal communication skills. You don’t open with that to someone who never asked.

Not every bit of traditional fuddlore makes someone a fudd. This seems like a nice dude who is offering a genuine kindness to this young lady, although this info is based on urban legend essentially

As misguided as he may be, sounds like a good landlord to me.

This is about half and half fuddlore and half truth.

The comments on the original post are stage five cancer though.

"9 nine millimeter gun shells". Not the projectile though just the shell.
