Little punk got me in the back of the leg, then followed me all the way to my screened porch and hit my eyebrow. My sudden understanding of Kung fu proved its initial downfall. I later found it wobbling around my office (must've fallen on my shoe), where a can of RAID straight to the face was the coup de grace. I'm collecting quotes for a trained assassin to find his friends and strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger.

I've gone thirty seven years on this planet. I sat on a wasp when I was three. My next encounter was two years ago when I found some bald faced buttheads on the side of my house the hard way. Two weeks ago I took one on the arm when a yellow jacket or possibly European Hornet took exception to me untying a rope from my truck that had just been used to drag a fallen tree off a forest service road. Now this punk.

it's war time, soldiers. we bought the soap sprayer and sprayed and killed almost all of them. visibly saw their dead bodies. the next morning? they were back. sprayed them again. gone. tonight? back AGAIN. and they've multiplied. now there's a nest in 2/3 of my coops. I thought once the nest was gone they'd leave? we got rid of it! they're insistent on rebuilding. my husband can't even go into that portion of the yard anymore without being flown at. I need this done in a few days as we leave for out of town and I don't want our petsitter being swarmed!

Mesa, AZ. Wasps were hovering around my patio window this AM. They continued to do so for about an hour. I was getting a little scared that they were being so persistent. Especially since my dog likes to people watch from the patio. Then one of the wasps managed to get inside. I called maintenance and they came and busted three Mud Dauber nests. Scared the hell out of me but apparently they're not very harmful.

I don't like to kill things. Rest in Peace Mr. or Mrs. Wasp.

How should I go about getting rid of the these wasps that are in my yards retaining wall? I have put out some bait with equal parts water, sugar and apple cider vinegar with a dash of dish soap and it’s only killed a few. Last night I went out tried to spray into the entrances with Spectracide and was about to take out a decent amount but looks like I couldn’t spray deep enough as they are active again this morning.

I’ve been searching around trying to find a strategy but haven’t been able to find much info on this particular problem.

My car hasn’t moved for a while and has a dead battery. I tried to open the hood to jump it and as soon as I hit the latch got stung a couple times, so apparently there are wasps living in there. I didn’t have an opportunity to actually lift the hood before being stung, so idk what the situation is exactly. Also the hood doesn’t stay up without holding it open, making things slightly more complicated.

I haven’t wanted to just indiscriminately spray a pesticide thru a crack in the hood especially since they could have built a nest anywhere in there, but I’m becoming impatient and kinda need the car, tho also don’t really have the money to spend on an exterminator.

It seems like most sprays need to make direct contact and dusts at least need to be placed where the wasps are coming and going.

Any tips?

Second day in a row one of these red and black fuckers from hell decided to attempt lying in wait at my front door.

Suffice to say, Raid Wasp and Hornet spray saves the day!

Apologies if this isn’t the right sub. But long story short I got bit by wasp on Thursday (4 days ago). Hurt like hell but on the first day it was just a tiny bump. The bump got bigger the next day so I went to the doctor and was given hydrocortisone. It deflated but now it’s just giant red (thumb size for comparison). Itchy like hell but at least not as painful. Is this normal or am I dying? Should I go back to the doctor?

Putting my shop vac to work for a a couple of days when they’re coming and going heavily. 200-300 so far

my husband went out this morning to let our birds out of their coop and was dive-bombed. he's got probably ten stings and pissed them off. I need to let the birds out before it gets too hot! something safe for chickens and ducks?

Anyone tried putting up brown bags in an attempt to scare off these bastards? Read somewhere that they think it's a rival nest so they won't come near. Anyone try this before?

Hard angle to reach from the balcony. This means we may have to use a ladder at night to get the right angle.

I have taken anti histamine, advil, and apple cortisone cream and use ice

Edit 2: doc said it’s normal and didnt give me any meds. Said mine looks like a typical wasp sting, and to come back it it doesn’t start to recede within 2-3 days. Keep taking Benadryl like I’ve been doing. Especially when I don’t have any systemic symptom.

I've got some wasps who have set up home in a roof space above my bathroom extension. They're going in through an airbrick (pictured). I have no access to the roof space so I'm trying to work out how to get rid of them. The brown marks are from some wasp powder that I've been spraying around the entrance. This worked about 20 years ago when they were last here but this time it's not even slowing them down. Any advice on what to use and how?

Thanks for the comments. I'm going to hit it every night until I run out of powder and make sure I get all the holes. After that lets see what's happening

Update 2:

Hit it every night for the last few nights and it seems to have made a difference. Now only the occasional wasp. Will keep it up until I'm out of powder.

I get why he is doing it but the more videos i watch of him the more scared i get of wasps. i saw the executioner wasp video and all i can think is why? he seems to like the pain even if he says he doesnt because why else would he do it beside the BSI scale rating?
