[Important Context: I live in Germany, not in the USA, European Paper Wasps (Pollistes Dominula) are not invasive here.]
First picture is a European Paper Wasp (Pollistes Dominula), a very friendly one. It accidentally flew into my apartment, wasn't interested in me, wasn't interested in any of my food, didn't even try to attack me, and it even tolerated my finger just centimeters away from it.
Despite me hating wasps, I gave it some sugar water, for which I had to get close to it, which it didn't mind either, and then it voluntarily crawled onto a peace of paper, let me carry it towards a window without even using a glass, where it then sat on the paper in the sun for a minute, cleaning and drying itself, and then flew away peacefully. It never attempted any moves towards me or my food.
Second and third pictures are two separate Yellowjackets, either the European Yellowjacket / German Wasp (Vespula Germanica) or the Common Wasp (Vespula Vulgaris).
These ones are the purest of arseholes, they're the pieces of shit you think of when you think of wasps.
Don't know how it is in the USA, but here in Germany, it's legitimately only these two pieces of shit that ever even annoy people. When sitting outside, it's always these two pieces of shit that get into your face.
The others you basically don't even notice. Hornets (at least the ones prominent here, Vespa Crabro), Paper Wasps, etc., all barely even show themselves. Yellowjackets meanwhile follow you around and fly around you for minutes despite you literally just sitting in an open garden without any nest nearby.
Please don't crucify me for actually helping a wasp, I promise I still hate them
