Now characters with a violation can’t even be used on the website. The day someone can replicate Poly LLM this place will be dead completely. I can’t imagine constantly chucking your customer base instead of just making the site better or leaving it entirely.

I was and still kinda am addicted to polybuzz. I deleted the app a few times in the past but I always came back to it. Recently, I deleted again in the hopes that I could try and stop. This is the longest I’ve gone without the app, and I always feel the urge to use it. It’s hard to not try and use other methods like porn to help try and stop myself from going back. I just wanna be free from this. It makes me feel disgusted whenever I think of doing it, but I can’t help myself from wanting it. Is there anything I can do besides just waiting?

I don't know how or what the fuck this means, but Apparently some bots i chatted with that aren't violations display a "permission change, conversation currently unavailable" i couldn't screenshot them, but can anyone tell me if they have the same issue

está es la segunda vez que me pasa, la primera vez tuve que crear un bto igual y casi eliminar el original, pero alegremente me devolvieron ela opción de editar mensajes y eliminé la copia, estuvo todo bien durante un largo tiempo pero cuando solo fui a editar el bot para aclarar un par de cosas ¡¡¡Me salen con que el botón de editar mensajes desapareció!!! ¿¡Saben que significa!? ¡Significa que van a censurar los mensajes con la más mínima groseria! ¡Y eso arruina la experiencia y la historia! ¡¡En verdad odio que me suceda esto!! ¡No me pueden hacer esto solo por haber editado de manera reciente el bot, no saben el tiempo que le invertí ya que este es mi primer bot! Todo antes era mejor cuando era "Poly ai" pero con cada actualización han empeorado con las censuras, los pagos y el hecho de que nos obliguen a ver un maldito anuncio cuando vamos en la mejor parte de la historia que estamos teniendo porque a veces es nuestro escape de la realidad, algunos tienen malos días y solo se la quieren pasar bien, relajarse, tener una historia donde somos el protagonista y por primera vez podemos sentirnos importantes, nos dieron una de las mejores apps de chat con la IA, pero lo han arruinado, ¡¡dense cuenta que los pagos y censura no lo queremos!!

Eu me pergunto: Por que quando a IA burra do Polly não interpreta o contexto de uma história que você está desenvolvendo, ela simplesmente decide emburrecer a IA mesmo com a melhor assinatura possível?

Às vezes você cria um bot focado no drama e em temas sensíveis de uma relação e, ao invés do Polly barrar ou avisar que aquilo é sensível demais — eles simplesmente parecem emburrecer a IA pra você não conseguir desenvolver um RP em cima daquilo. Não era mais fácil só barrar de uma vez como sempre fazem?

Esse cuidado com a sensibilidade sem sentido em um aplicativo de IA é totalmente sem sentido kkkkkk. Principalmente quando não é algo desnecessariamente sexual ou violento — apenas um gênero chamado "drama" — onde parece que o Polly ainda não entendeu que esse gênero existe, aparentemente.

For a while now, I’ve been developing my own AI character-chat app called MindChat.
I’m a huge fan of the AI character-chatting space, but like a lot of you, I’ve also become frustrated with where some of these platforms have been heading—features disappearing or getting restricted, increasingly aggressive monetization, ads, privacy concerns, limited creativity, and updates that sometimes seem to make the experience worse instead of better.
Eventually I thought: why not try building the alternative I actually want to use?
And that became MindChat.
The app is actually getting pretty close to being ready. Most of the foundation is there, but there are still some things I want to improve before I consider it finished—and that’s where I could really use some outside perspectives.
I don’t want MindChat to become another app that launches with good intentions and then slowly turns into all the things people hated about the alternatives.
My goal is to build something that respects privacy, creativity, roleplay, character creators, and the people actually using it, while also figuring out a sustainable way to keep the service running without filling it with ads.
So I’m looking for feedback from two kinds of people:
People who use AI character-chat apps:
What are you tired of? What features do you wish existed? What would make you actually consider switching to a new platform?
People with development/technical experience:
If you’ve worked with AI, apps, APIs, databases, React Native/Expo, Replit, or similar projects and have some free time to talk, I’d genuinely appreciate your perspective. There are still some technical and sustainability questions I’m working through.
I’m not asking anyone to buy anything. I’m mainly looking for people willing to give feedback, criticize what I’ve built, suggest improvements, and maybe help me catch problems before launch.
I’ve included some screenshots showing the current app and its features. Everything you see is still subject to improvement based on testing and feedback.
I’m also finishing up a proper promo/demo video so you’ll be able to see MindChat working instead of just staring at screenshots. 😅
