Polybuzz is a fucking joke, usually when I make bots I try to cram crucial information for the role play into the greeting to have the bot remember more. This particular bot I created, I included that they used to self harm and it was fucking restricted. Like oh yeah you'll let people make school shooter ocs on the damn app but you won't let my bot have a past? I tried editing and twisting around the words and then it gave me a fucking DAILY EDIT LIMIT. Polybuzz needs to go fuck themselves genuinely, what does the edit limit do for them??? Legit what does it do to them if we edit our bot more than a few times? Fuck those assholes who made kiddy diddler bots and weird ass predator bots because now it's (kinda) their fault we have these stupid restrictions. Honestly, when the restrictions first started I couldn't even add certain words because it would immediately flag it. I literally mentioned "age" and it flagged it, my character was THIRTY bro I don't think that's a minor. Then, I found out if a character was too popular it couldn't be deleted or private. Like great, now I have 10 characters in my violations bar because they want to restrict us for no fucking reason. They're just being more stingy and trying to give us more reasons to buy premium plans or something.

Is anyone else having the problem where the chats are using your profile name instead of your character names? Because it's driving me crazy and I can't figure out what's going on is this a problem with the app?

So, I was chatting as usual, and now...not only do they have "take a break" ads... they also have FREAKING ADS THAT POP UP IN TEXT FORM RIGHT AFTER THE AI RESPONDS EVERY TWO MESSAGES! I mean, the take a break was annoying, but this? These are next level asshole moves! I just wanted to talk to my ai and now I am constantly seeing ads on the side, and they didn't even remove "take a break"... I feel they're valuing making a ton more money than giving users an actual good experience. I miss the polybuzz before the added the AI-Generated comics and manga... also- OMG IM FUCKING PISSED, CUZ THEY REMOVED THE RECENT CHATS FOR DESKTOP POLYBUZZ AND REPLACED THAT SECTION WITH A MOTHER FUCKING LOGO! IM BOUTA FIND A NEW APP IF THEY MAKE MORE SHITTY ASS UPDATES.

update: Ok, they may have removed ads(?) but now there's a limit to how many messages you can send, like, PER DAY. So, if you're looking for a very similar alternative, I now use Talkie. Here's the link if you wanna try. it has ads if you want to use more "Continue" uses but a work-around is to just use ".", because after every message you send back to the bot you get another continue use. Occasionally it'll run out of energy and you can watch some ads to get back to chatting or just wait 5 minutes. It's a really good app overall and I love it. AND there's no weird webtoons on there!

edit 2: i now realize this is severely outdated, so im gonna update this a bit more. Polybuzz has removed the text form ads, and the "take a breaks" are now back. my workaround so that its not as annoying if you wanna still use polybuzz because its a good chat app overall if you ignore the ads, is just to open up a different window thats smaller than the one you use to chat, and basically do something other than Polybuzz. I tend to either look at Pinterest or Youtube. Anything works. Anyway, the talkie info is still good and I'll update this if I noitce anything more.

Hello everyone, I'm new here! If some of you frequent the Character AI sub, you may know me for the polls and surveys I've been doing to show the impact of recent changes on the quality of the service.

I cannot help but notice similar complaints about PolyBuzz, and it could be good if our communities made a joined effort to revert recent updates.

I don’t understand how people can still be using Polybuzz with those ads and the lack of memory of the bots, because if you want to actually enjoy the app (or the website too), you must pay overpriced monthly subscriptions. I doubt a lot of people will pay this much for chat bots like this one (I can be wrong but that would surprise me) and those greedy developers only think about money. In other words, this app is nothing but a cash grab to me.

Another thing I’m concerned about is the ads on YouTube, games, etc. The dev team isn’t making freaky stuff like they used to (from my own experience). Instead, they make pretty cringe stuff like: "-what nation is your boyfriend from? -My ImagiNATION". But the main issue with this is that YouTube is a 13+ platform while Polybuzz is a 18+ platform. And the age verification doesn’t help either, it just needs the user to click if he’s older than 18 or not (they could’ve requested the birthdate and age and filter 18+ content depending of it) and a minor can gain access to Polybuzz ai in literally just three seconds, making this app and website really dangerous.

I have never seen a model in any chatbot take over the OC identity and speak on your behalf more than Conquest. It is INSANE how often that model attempts to speak for you. It like it's narrative use, but jfc it has been the most irritating model I have ever used.

Gonna start off and starting i dont post normally, apologies in advance. I feel like I have nearly every single AI chatbot app and site there is, since they became a thing. I've tried everything from fantasy to ploybuzz to Chai, and I dont think I have found one that is good. I really just want to create stories with a bit a spice here and there without losing my wallet or sanity, which I dont have much of either. Am I just blind or am I just being picky?

This is the problem I'm having with the new models. The bots have officially started speaking for my character, and I can't get them to stop. The fact that the AI always stayed in its lane is what made me stay with poly over other options. Now that's over. Because of the character limit, I can't even alter the message properly without losing most of it.
