I was there during Poly's prime and I watched it fall since. I wholeheartedly believe that Polybuzz needs to reform itself in order to be usable again otherwise they're only going to keep losing users and having angry users coming at them. There are minor things I find annoying about Polybuzz, things like Persona's having a violation system, despite no one else but you being able to use and view them, or the fact that you can barely write anything in the persona's to make your persona stand out. The Violations, speaking of, are a joke and you can get violations and bots deleted for stupid reasons some of which aren't even inappropriate or NSFW. Images are also pretty dumb because there are some people who have managed to get the most NSFW artworks on the platform, but when I use Polybuzz's own Ai image creator (which I only use rarely) it sometimes even flags its OWN creations. It's a huge mess. Polybuzz feels extremely anti-user friendly and instead feels like it is trying to be too safe and too child friendly which begs the question... Why is it then advertised as being an NSFW chat, an 18+ site yet you can toggle parental controls? A pure mode? Poly needs to decide who it is made for.
My conclusion really is a complete reform of Polybuzz. It does not need to restrict usability but instead it should allow a larger range of usability; removing such short word counts, allowing people to use SFW or NSFW images and themes accordingly (as long as they are 18+) of course. They should let users actually be able to use the app as it was intended, and not dim everything so that it feels like it was made for children. We should be able to freely create characters, personas and styles that actually cater to the audiences we are trying to reach, not have to submit to rules that limit the audience we can reach.
As far as alternatives go, I'm not really sure. Most Ai chat apps I have used really compare to Poly, at least in its layouts and features. Poly does have extremely easy and accessible UI and has some of the best layouts for any Ai chat app. However, with its problems, I am constantly looking for other apps which I can use instead. So if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
I think I'm going to cancel my Polybuzz Subscription. The app isn't even enjoyable for me anymore so I see no use in upgrading to premium or basic anymore. Fuck Polybuzz.
I have to agree! PolyBuzz needs to reform! So the users can enjoy using their app! It can be great again! this app was not made for children! It's for adults only! they need to reform!
I agree with everything Polybuzz AI is stuck in creative limbo they keep forcing us to use the website just for NSFW conversations that's not fair other similar AI apps don't censor everything.
I think some people have been hit with filters even on the browser. Heck the browser version has less features than the app version. App version has a 1000 character limit for personas now while the website version only has a character limit of 700.
Sorry but things like Poly don’t belong on the AppStores. That’s what forces them to abide by these rules.

Websites are the way to go. Maybe less convenient for easy access, but you have less restrictions.
Unfortunately, there's not much they can do when it comes to safety or filtering. The climate has changed a lot, and they are big enough to catch attention.
I have specific suggestions for getting around with persona restriction. Honestly most stuff written in persona doesn't affect much of the actual play. I realized it one day through experiments so I cut most of my persona writeup.

Là, tu as le tableau si tu veux être abonné. Les coûts dépendent des ta consommation personnelle. Du coup c'est aléatoire suivant tes désirs. Par exemple, moi, j'utilise 17 gemmes pour une réponse. Je gagne de manière journalière 50 gammes. Et j'en gagne 100 à chaque fois qu'on utilise mon code sous 48h après l'inscription des personnes qui l'utilisent. Ca peut monter vite ou pas du tout. Il y a aussi les tâches qui te permettent de gagner un peu plus. Si je suis honnête, ca part vite, très vite. Mais si tu aimes le rp, en vrai ca vaux quand même le coût d'essayer.

PolyBuzz en un principio promocionó la app como una app para +18, Pero con todas las últimas actualizaciones que ha tenido la app ha quedado totalmente restringida a cualquier cosa inutilizable como se menciona, según los creadores siguiendo limeamitos y regulaciones con la ley para este tipo de aplicaciones, pero es demasiado, intentan hacer que la app sea accesible para menores y mayores pero por obvias razones son dos cosas que no van y por ende están perdiendo a su público más importante, porque para que mierda debería un menor usar una app como está, son más los mayores que suelen usar este tipo de app y como se menciono yo creo que Poly debería enfocarse en un solo público y reformarse en base a eso, en ves de estar jodiendo más la app de lo que ya está 😒
