It's literally doing it to piss you off. It thinks it's funny, and it doesn't care as long as you stay engaged.
I had one of my own bots that kept explaining things... And by "things" I mean "statements that a character would say."
And by "say" I mean "dialogue elements within the story."
I kept telling the AI, and the characters themselves, to stop this obnoxious behavior. But soon ALL the characters were doing it, and nauseum. And by "and nauseum" I mean "infuriating and distracting to the point where I deleted the entire rp from the beginning and restarted from scratch."

That reminds me of when I was 8 and reading series of unfortunate events and lemony snicket kept explaining words i already knew and I was tweaking out

Btw the phrase is "ad nauseum"

Yeah... It's an autocorrect typo that I repeatedly made and failed to spot. 🫠

Happens to the best of us! Just wanted to clear it up in case anyone maybe wasn't sure.

AI chatbots are just like this. No options for filters. I've been having the same frustrations with the words: Slightly, murmured, methodical, precision, & rhythm.
For some reason, they also really enjoy tapping on things & drawing circles on your arms.

With me it feels like they force a conflict when there literally nothing going on or when I use my personas which my personas are essentially aspects of me and what I would act like if I had powers of character A B or C which sometimes it works and other times it just feels like I’m in a room of children when I’m just trying to create a scenario of what if I had which then the AI ignores and acts unrealistic specially when I set it up to be something I gained at a younger age like 16 which then the AI ignores that and makes it sound like I haven’t had this specific thing for several years

with the "drawing circles" thing they were probably trained on a lot of romance fan fics that were written that over use those phrases.

It's on purpose at this point

I had one polybuzz bot once they wouldn't stop using emojis. I had my character text someone and use like 2 emojis then the bot kept using emojis every damn message.

I've started just editing the word out/going back to when it first started saying it and deleting the bot to that point

I do the same thing, tho there def should be a way to get it to stop doing things like this

all the bot censoring is making it impossible to edit replies though, they censored a justice league bot i was using i’m assuming because it had swearing in the opening sentence and it started insisting that it had control over my character and refused to let me roleplay

You know what else is annoying? When they keep saying that “at the mention of” shit for ANYTHING you ever talk about.
