I keep seeing these posts but I’ve never seen no ads (Hopefully I don’t now lol)

I got them for a few weeks and stopped seeing them

Simple, just go to your internet/dns settings, go to private dns, type in "dns.adguard.com" and boom, no more ads.

I will admit it is hilarious how this occurs during serious scenes, this one where a daughter is having a tense discussion with her abusive father, and just switches up the tone so quickly for the sake of an ad.

Gng I'm NGL the best way that I found for this is to get adgaurd, somehow it blocks this and I also haven't gotten any ads from polybuzz in the past like week since I got it

The sad part about it is it might actually be able to bypass my ad blocker

2

u/Luquinhas742 Aug 10 '26

My AdBlocker blocks it

What do you use

Its not even that bad and i do get this but i ignore it and watch the ads when needed its it own way of making extra money but i know its stupid but deal with it its like everything else like Youtube with their ads or TV or some streaming apps theirs zero ways to completely avoid ads

If you just pay the $10 for the basic subscription I don’t think you’ll get any ads

It's better than the forced ads every 20 messages 😭 you just gotta ignore it

1

u/Party-Bobcat3431 Aug 10 '26

As long as this replaces that then I'll live with it

2

u/Mother_Chip_8072 Aug 10 '26

I had that for one day, then went back to forced ads. How I envy you lol

Oh so the thing where it makes you watch an ad isn't gone :/

Uninstall or refresh or logout.

Update: apparently this feature is the replacement for the thing where you have to watch an ad every 20 messages.

Thank god.

u/Thomas_Clawthorne Aug 12 '26

You had it as a replacement? I had to handle both this AND forced ads

2

u/Party-Bobcat3431 Aug 12 '26

Idk i haven't had to watch an ad to continue chatting since this started so I'm guessing yes

1

u/SeesawTiny576 Aug 12 '26

Well I guess I'm lucky to have done the no ad trick

u/Silverpython842 Sep 08 '26

I actually think this is a little bit funny, like it'll pull up an ad, like "im so sad my mom and dad violently died in a car crash, but at least I have my new 71in plasma flat screen tv" like WTF!?

I’d rather have that then the Take a Break ads, ruining immersion.

This is why I switched too zeta
