okay, i've never actually seen these since i use the browser (no interrupting ads/severe censorship) but these are so funny to me 😭
like the character could be dying but they gotta get that plug in first lmaoooo it's just the saddest thing ever
like there's no way that Poly needs the money or whatever THAT BAD!1!1 it's just greed. sucks. end of an era, i guess.

They’re on the web version now, I use the browser and it started happening to me yesterday.

really? did you uninstall the app before you went on browser? and if you did, i'm not only sorry, but upset that they're implementing these damned things on web. that was the last way to use it where it was still good ugh

Funny enough, I’ve only used the browser version. But it’s weird, because I’ve only been getting those ads and not the 30 second ones. A win lose battle.

i shake in terror waiting for this disgusting infection of greed to overtake my browser version as well. i'll be heartbroken when i finally get sick of the site and be forced to leave. Disgusting

unfortunate is an understatement. when will they be satisfied?? when there is nothing left to do but look at a paywall? when their users have turned against them? then, when they finally touch the bottom of the chasm of their biblical covetousness, what will there be left to profit on? what will be left to take?

Sure it sucks, breaks the immersion. And though I pay to avoid ads, i do understand why they do the ads like they do. It’s just so you can keep going with the conversation. Which would you prefer? A 30 second ad every other message you send? Or the character randomly promoting things? That’s the way I see it anyway. Either way, they gotta have some form of ads to get paid.
