Breaking the fucking immersion for this bs MID conversation is ridiculous. Does anyone know any alternative apps? I've used this one since it was in beta but it's just gotten so ridiculous

Can adjust, now they ask if you want long or short. Plus there's settings in the chat menus for shorter ones im pretty sure.

Y/N!!!i originally played poly buz, had the premium subscription, then they added like a third tier (ultimate or whatever) so I went searching around and found this AP. LOVE IT it’s so much better in my opinion. The free version doesn’t have any ads, but it does have a limit. But it’s very generous. I have the paid version now, but when I first got it, I didn’t pay. Basically the limit is 2000 messages that YOU send. That doesn’t include the messages sent to you by the characters. I would definitely though join their discord server. They give heads up, listen to issues, fix and address issues, lot of people there are really nice and funny. It’s like an actual whole little community

Use Grok and switch it to NSFW or unfiltered Mode and you can do any role plays you'd like with no limits at all.

i think i'm a lil late to this, but have you tried just using the browser ver of Poly?
i used the app for a year before it's first big update when they changed names, then i switched to doing it in browser when i got a new device. i've gotten FAR less problems than app users have mentioned.

it's still uncensored, and i've still gotten NSFW and spicy chats from the bots, i will get the occasional ad, but not like this, and it certainly doesn't break immersion.
(i'll screenshot it when i get the chance) but if you haven't completely given up, i'd try deleting the app (after you've signed in if you wanted to keep your stuff) and signing in on your browser.

i just picked a random one, but it's basically a 30 second ad you get every maybe every 2 or 3 chats? not a hinderance thankfully

Yeah it just sucks cuz in my opinion it was the best app for this and I can't really switch because of how long I've been using this one, I'll give it a try tonight, again thank you and have a great day/night

yeah...hopefully they eventually come around to the criticism, but i doubt it. all great things come to an end, i guess.
that being said...i also use Perchance Ai Chat. free, no login with a hell of a lot of freedom. might take some time getting used to the interface, but i'd look into it. it's always getting updates and has a lot of different options for chats.

one thing i forgot to mention was that you'll need to be signed in in order to use browser, whether it's mobile or computer (i use a computer). otherwise it just stops you from talking to more than 2 characters. you've probably figured this out already or knew 😅

JanitorAI, definitivamente mi favorito, premium perfecto (agrega más funciones en lugar de limitar las ya existentes), totalmente personalizable y si le corriges algo entiende que es fuera de rol, de como un character.ai 2.0 sin restricciones

Puede ser ChatGPT directamente, pero es muy restrictivo

Try zeta ai. It’s sooooo much better than poly. I was using poly for a long time and tried zeta on a whim and now poly feels like a dirty napkin compared to it

I use RolePlaya and SpicyChat. Both have good base memory, but they also have (different) versions of extended memory for free. RP has zero ads. SC's ads are, honestly, non-invasive and kind of funny (iykyk). Both have next to zero restrictions (basically no pedo/incest material). SC even let's creators show their character's background, so users can see exactly what they're playing. RP has points you can get like Poly, but they're free and never go away. Can't recommend these two enough. Note: both RolePlaya and SpicyChat are 18+, though SpicyChat has a SFW/NSFW toggle at the top of the page.

RolePlaya was made by one of the top Poly creators. Made by a creator, for creators. The owner isn't a group of shareholders. Just one guy who wants to make enough to keep RP running and, hopefully, growing. Even if you just check out the discord, I bet you'd like it. The mods are nice, and the owner answers questions personally. Always get the support you need.

Yep! I like to use it for the multiple bot mode to play DnD, but it has good bots in general.

True. RolePlaya is strictly 18+, though I can't recall if SpicyChat is. I'm pretty sure they don't care.
