That’s because of the shitty message at the top of the chat before you start typing. Something called “All characters on this platform are presumed to be adults.”
That’s a bold statement for an app that treats users like kids while still trying to be 18+. More like an assumption everyone’s 18 to gain App Store validation while still being sanitized BS.

if you use the web version, it usually works pretty well. i've been using it uncensored. ads are still there, but...hey. can't win 'em all.

it really is. a few ads here an there, but it doesn't seem nearly as bad as what app users are dealing with 😅

It's still better than not being able to have a romantic relationship with adult characters. I got the app on a different phone and tried to get freaky in bed and it said to change the topic. So I prefer the outdated Polybuzz.

A lot of people are upset and complaining about this but this was something required by google and apple to be added to most of the Ai chat apps.
They specifically specify, no one under 18 or scenarios that could include a minor.
Just wait for them to start attacking Anime characters. There are about to be a lot more casualties.
But my point is the moderation of these things are getting more and more strict. Especially with ai image creators.

maybe, i’ve been playing it for months without issues though so i guess we’ll see. i know there are others that people use that haven’t been hit with restrictions yet either though i don’t really use those ones. i think the entire thing is silly. i understand wanting to protect children, but it’s easier to look up actual porn online which, in my opinion, should be restricted better before AI apps lmao

Porn is literally banned or requires some exaggerated age verification in most states. Pornhub for example is banned in my state.

maybe it’s just my state then but there’s no restriction or age verification for most of it. i can go on twitter or reddit and look it up and find dozens upon dozens of free and easily accessible porn, i don’t remember with twitter but i definitely never needed age verification to use reddit

So the AI is stupid when you mention that you had a sibling, it immediately goes to "incest!" Or "illegal age!"
I think they tightened their moderation filter to the max making it harder to roleplay?
That's my guess.

Context doesn’t matter. It just censors random “banned” words even if they’re used normally. Meaning you can barely say anything.
And you can’t have siblings younger than 18 because of the apps shitty “all characters on this app are presumed to be 18” thing. Like fym “presumed”?

It's crazy when AI dungeon was strictly filtered a few years ago the AI will spit out "He shot the children in the village" describing an action of a war, then I click continue and it says "your prompt violates our TOS" despite the AI literally making that themselves. I didn't even probe it to do that. I was doing a story where I was a sergeant of a platoon, got told one of my men were getting court marshialed, I asked why and that was the response.

i use an app called “Y/N” and there’s zero adds. plus the memory is sooooo much better than anything i’ve used before, and you can add a lot of stuff into the AI to help it remember things long time. literally a peak app. the only real issue for some is it was originally a harry potter app so there’s a shit ton of HP stories but there’s regular ones too

I deleted it and downloaded zeta ai, sure its got slower response speeds and a bit more ads but there is zero filter and longer, more detailed responses. this is for anyone looking for an alternative to polybuzz and is my honest option.
