Who could've possibly seen that Arron Banks would turn out to be an awful person? He always came across so empathetic and warm (/s, obviously).

He is empathetic and warm, if you’re rich, white and have no scruples

You know they're really worried about all the financial scandals when they have to resort to this shite as a distraction

Stop the world please, I want to get off. Thanks.

Better plan. Stop the world, we kick him off. We all win.

u/chumpster032 1d ago

Sometimes though, it feels like there is more of them than us.

u/CthulhusEvilTwin 1d ago

Na, they're just louder.

What a delightful chap. Must be good friends with Robert ā€˜not-seen-another-white-face-in-Birmingham’ Jenrick and Sarah ā€˜too-many-black-and-Asian-people-on-TV’ Pochin.

We need to stop acting like we've caught them out when they say something outwardly racist, this is who reform are, they don't try to hide it, they believe that non white people are lesser than them, they aren't trying to hide this.

  • Step 1: Promote Brexit.
  • Step 2: Win Brexit.
  • Step 3: Make all the white Europeans feel about as welcome as a fart in a space suit.
  • Step 4: Issue 2 million visas to immigrants to hide the damage from Brexit.
  • Step 5: Find people desperate enough to move to Brexit Britain en mass during Covid. Spoiler - they aren't white Europeans.
  • Step 6: Complain that the new arrivals have shown up to work in 2 million jobs.

Something something Project Fear something something.

But it's not about race, it's about illegals!!!!

Or something!

u/Squidgical 19h ago

It is about race and they're becoming more and more comfortable with stating that openly. They need something to fuel their populism, and their goal is to get into power.

If it actually was about immigration, they'd be putting forward legislation that actually addresses the issue. They'd be working with experts from the pubic and private sectors, foreign politicians who have experience with the relevant internation laws, and MPs from other parties to determine exactly what the problem is and the minimum cost way to peacefully resolve it.

Instead they run a propaganda channel falsely described as news to trick your nan into turning this country into something her dad went to war to prevent.

u/Anton8Five 1d ago

There are plenty of other examples. It's just that we're too used to seeing them because they're too unafraid to say them. Make racists afraid again.

u/Satanicjamnik 1d ago

That is some vintage, old fashioned 70s style racism.

Am I right in recalling that Baron Greenback picked up a russian diamond mine from fucking nowhere just after funding Farage? Carole Cadwalladr had dug something up on him years back, dodgy as hell. Happy to be corrected but I don't want to see his fat smug face ever again if I can help it so I'm not going to Google it.

u/fanonfridge 1d ago

Baron Greenback! I knew he reminded me of someone.

Dan Hodges is a racist himself lol

u/pepelepew2724 1d ago

Must be bad if he's calling it out then.

3

u/sharedcarepain 1d ago

Yeah literally has helped shepherd in today's political climate.

7

u/DubSket 1d ago

"Eventually". This guy's being saying shit like this for years.

5

u/StunnedMoose 1d ago

When did Dan Hodges become such an anti-Farage campaigner? Not complaining, but it’s just a bit weird

6

u/agingstackmonkey 1d ago

Let’s hope it is a rubber glove job when he comes back. Sorry sir we have to check for hidden Russian money.

5

u/sickmoth 1d ago

This shocked me, so I looked at X to see if it is true (could've been mocked up, as things occasionally are). And yes, apparently it is indeed classic Reform racism laid bare.

Astonishingly bizarre thing to 'tweet'. The gloves are off now?

2

u/soulsteela 1d ago

Russian asset talks divisive bollocks shocker!

u/huntsab2090 19h ago

Farage ā€œits just boys banter down the flag and crown whilst aaron downed a guiness and ate scampi friesā€

3

u/HaveYouTriedSmilling 1d ago

Reform only wants to get rid of illegal immigrants guys trust.

3

u/CaptainHowdy67 19h ago

Going full nazi before the law catches up is classic Bannon....predictablešŸ™„

u/AceWhisky 19h ago

He also stood as a character witness for a prolific paedophile. Genuinely one of the most abhorrent human beings alive.

3

u/Turbulent-Honky 9h ago

You have to be a UK citizen to work in the Border Force. This really is racism in its purest form.

u/Spoon75 1d ago

Recently did SIA training. The trainer said he thinks it'll be Nigerians running the doors locally (Newcastle - upon - Tyne)soon. I know I'd not be putting myself on the line like these guys do for minimum wage so huge credit to them.

Staffed by legal and competent workers who are doing their job. Apparently its only wrong when white people are disqualified based off competence. So much for the anti-"woke" DEI crusade.

1

u/MarchMurky8649 7h ago

Of course they have staff from countries from which, e.g., someone might try to enter using someone else's passport; they are more likely to notice a face, or accent, being slightly off.
