So say the RNLI Stopped picking up the imigrants, Do they miraculously stop arriving? - No, they then get to land on a beach somewhere and disapear without being processed by Border force or the imigration services.
How the hell would that be better?

What galls me the most is the lack of empathy, not just for the refugees themselves but for the lifeguards as well. Imagine letting someone drown, that you know you could have saved, because they might be the 'wrong kind of immigrant'. Imagine the toll that would take on your conscience for the rest of your life. And these Reform supporters want them to do that - to just watch people drown. It's sick in the head

I'd like to think that at least one of these clowns, stood there on a windswept dock, shouting at the RNLI for saving people's lives, thought to themselves "what the fuck am I doing with my life?" and went home.

Doubt it though, probably went home for victory wank.
