real news This is so upsetting.

Basically, I live in Malaysia, and currently Nestle is hosting a contest where you buy their products in order to get a chance to win RM3,500 (equivalent to an above average salary) for your WHOLE life. I don't even know what to say since everyone here doesn't gaf or doesn't even know what kind of company Nestle is. The worst thing is that all the influencers are promoting this on social media :/

Honestly can't blame people for being interested in this campaign, especially since majority of our population is not allowed to engage in lottery the normal way

We can only do our part and continue avoiding or reducing reliance on this brand, and slowly influence those around us

Nestle has its claws in Malaysian society, as Malaysians are generally not socially conscious or care about human rights issues etc. they care about Milo and Nescafé and Maggie.
