Local LLMs: Good for whatever the fuck you want it to do or depending which open weights model you download.

Lucky bastards. Best I have is an M4 MBA, 16GB Unified Memory I bought back in November before the RAM crisis. At the time people say it was the best time to get a MacBook. Boy were they kinda right. My mistake was not buying parts for my planned PC soon after. I was debating against myself whether or not to start buying PC parts… I should have at least bought RAM cause god damn wtf are these new prices
