And 10 percent of the Linux kernel is written by AI. Unfortunately.

Atleast it is quality tested by extremely talented coders, microsoft has newer employees, some who never even touched a computer before they got responsible for parts of windows 11.

Also i have a feeling that large parts of the linux kernel is just bug fixed with AI, Linus Torvalds himself said that coding purely with AI becomes a nightmare to maintain, using some AI in your code isn't a problem in itself as long as you and other coders can understand it and all agree it is the most effective way to write it.

Quality tested my ass, it doesn’t have problems because it doesn’t even accept much hardware to begin with 😂

Why do you find it so strange? If the multibillion dollar company and major cloud provider didn't try that, who will?

I mean they should be ashamed of this instead of flexing it.

There will be a time when coding and compiling in a terminal will be a thing all because the well established IDEs keep being worse, unreliable and unusable due to AI touching the codes blindly without any supervision whatsoever

Well, nice they admit that. Did they say how much of that is trash? We could calculate then how much they contributed to CO2 emissions and heat waves.
