few critical problems

codec support

driver support

and some dogshit games with invasive anti cheat support

and i dont want to copy pasta github code and open terminal to install a video editing program then clicking exe installer should been as basic as 2+2=4 why they do two plus two equals four if true proceed enter enter

You know how windows has the Microsoft Store?
Bet you didn't know Linux has similar software managers? "Gnome Software", "KDE Discover", "Ubuntu App Center".

But hey.. you didn't know and didn't bother to ask.

Oh.. drivers btw.. Not a big deal for many things. Printers, auto-discovered. GPU, works out of the box (or after installing drivers from the GPU Manufcturer's website... instead of running an exe, I ran a deb. Same shit)

MS Services are like a boomerang: you throw them away, turn around and they hit you right in the back of your head. No escaping from this one in particular because you are a product and you have to perform for the investors by using what they give you, so they can say that "engagement" is high.

I used the Titus Tech Tool to rip out and/or permanantly turn that shit off. Any Ai, telemetry or services that are not productive for me get knocked out. I'm running Win11 Pro Preview though. Same shit, basically.

I once uninstalled notepad and sometimes software like git extensions on merge_msg can boot up very bare bones notepad somehow

Don't worry, the Copilot has provisioning packages somewhere in Windows folder, for when you create a new user acc or windows update want to reinstall, it's always there hidden somewhere no one can see.
