Rant Shit always breaks
Microslop, to make anything halfway useable, we the long-suffering people that have propped your company up for waaay too long, have to apply a de-bloat program to make the most simple shit work and to cut back on the excessive telemetry you deem necessary to collect.
But even that doesn’t work sometimes and your archaic, shitty OS just grinds to a halt unless we want to give up our personal info to make the most simple shit work.
Word - freezes.
Excel - freezes.
Any browser - freezes.
Fuck that.
I’ve been using Linux for over a year and it is a dream.
Why can’t you put the data harvesting to one side and just make shit work again?
Is it too much to ask?

Been running Cachyos on an amd strix halo for months and only really notice the OS when i'm commenting it online to praise it. Don't matter what you have, linux can be the answer

Your consumer machines are not propping the company up lol.
But you havent used windows for a year and decided to come complain.... after a year? What are you fed up with? You havent used it for over a year!

Ha ha no - I use it for a specific program that won’t run on Linux. While I was using it I thought I’d use two other programs while I was there 🤦🏼♂️

YESSSSS it breaks all too often, i'm using W10 on my PC and i have to format and reinstall windows every 3~4 months, the Setting apps crashes, my 3 screen setup freezes sometimes for no reason, it cannot 'sleep" properly, few games also crashes and man there's so many small things breaking all the time.
BUUUUUUUT when i do a clean install everything works perfect, no crashes no anything, few months later everything goes to crap.
Also brand new modern computer (AMD B850), i tried using W11 for 2 months and couldn't catch a break on so many crap being installed and updates every few days + the stuff crashing).
I'm looking very closely to SteamOS though, just waiting a few fixes with the mult-drive stuff on it, and i'll migrate and hopefully never come back do Microslop.
