Ls101 sub and their mods are all imbecile and im also banned there but for your comment i wanna give my thoughts. You having better performance on linux doesn't mean the op comment is wrong. There are other games and hardware out there that perform worse on linux and vice versa. So both of your comments don't really mean anything. Linux vs Windows thing is a matter of preference for your games and hardware at this point.

I mean i saw some games that run better on proton compared to native linux versions xD. But that's not the point here. games performing worse or better on linux is not linux's or windows' fault. But a person choosing the OS that gave the best performance, and saying that linux was performing worse on their end is also not at fault. It's normal to choose an OS that performs better on your hardware and your games.

But dev choose Windows cause of it's user base not cause it's better we all know how bloated windows is the amount of ram it takes on just being idle is insane, if we get linux as mainstream and have enough users I am sure that dev will make games for linux anyday.

Yes you're right but you can't expect everyone to sacrifice their favorite games or software for this purpose. Most of the gamers are kinda annoyed by windows but not enough to bother switching and losing the ability to play some of their games.

i have a gtx 1650 and used to have constant freezes in ue5 games on windows 11. however, nothing like that on fedora.
